Thailand - Cambodia Mission Trip

Day One:

Leslie Gavin Devitt
Hey- We are great. God's favor has been all over us since the beginning of the trip. It was so important to me that you were there and saw us off. I loved that you took care of me by doing all the baggage stuff. Oh, and the phone works! I will call you tomorrow. It is so neat to travel with Kitty. We are just focused on God, claiming scripture, praying over each other. We got in the plane and we were in the 2nd row (United Plus seats with the extra legroom--God's FAVOR. We were on the way to Chicago, and the plane was running about 35 minutes late. We only had an hour connection, so we were trying to just stay calm in the Lord. We had no idea where to go to get our connection from United to ANA in Chicago, and the flight attendants had no idea. So we bolted from the plane, ran down the gangway, ready to try to find an information booth. We get to the arrival gate, look up, and we see a Japanese man with an "ANA" sign, waiting to escort us to our flight. There were about 7 people behind us. God's FAVOR!!! unbelievable. He walked us the 15 minutes to another concourse to get the flight. We never would have made it. The whole way I just felt overwhelmed by God's love. He was saying, "you are my beloved servant. Nothing is too good for you. These other people are benefiting from the favor I have for YOU." It was sooooo cool. Got on the flight, got settled with no problems. The flight to Tokyo was smooth, but we were dog tired by the time we arrived. We had a 4 hour layover, during which time we rented a little "day room" where we slept hard for two hours. Scrupulously clean. The Japanese have a way with cleanliness, it would seems. We were particularly impressed by it when we arrived there and 6 people from the ministry of health in full scrubs/gowns/masks came on board the flight and began taking everyone's temperature to make sure they didn't have swine flu. I kid you not. It was something out of a science fiction novel.

  2. G-d is sooo good, all the time. Blessings to you both. I love getting your blog or whatever you call it. My continual prayer is that you touch the hearts of many and they know that they are loved by a power greater than what they can see. Tell Kitty to be careful if she gets the message from G-d to yell "JOY" into someone's belly. Be gentle!!!! I love you both and know that you are so protected by G-d's love and blessings. May you all travel in safety with His Shield around you and His Angels walking and watching where you go. Keep us informed as best you can. Kinda makes us feel as if we are a part of this trip. Love in His powerful name, Yeshua. connie
